Michael A. Lebel

Michael Lebel is a lifelong resident of Maine.
With a B.S. degree from the University of
Maine in Orono, Michael is a licensed Life
& Health Insurance Agent and is a Registered Representative of Valmark.

For the past 30 years, Michael has focused
almost exclusively on retirement planning,
with a particular focus on the design of
non-qualified, carve-out plans for senior
level management.

Michael has worked with hundreds of former retirement plan participants
in establishing IRA rollover accounts, as well as helping many clients set
up personal investment accounts outside of their employer-sponsored
retirement accounts.

With a keen involvement in the design, implementation and communication
of 401(k) and 403(b) plans for Maine employers, Michael has met with
thousands of employees regarding asset allocation and retirement savings
through the years. In that time, he has established a proven track record
of increasing participation and employee awareness.

In recognition of his work in the retirement planning arena, Michael is
a member of the Pension Advisory Boards of two industry-leading
financial companies.

Most recently, Michael has designed and managed the implementation
of a retirement plan product for the fourth largest payroll company in
America, which offers retirement plan services to over 60,000 businesses
across the country.

Married to wife Suzi for more than 25 years, Michael enjoys spending
time with their two children, Caitlin and Andrew.
  

Philip E. Harriman, CLU, ChFC

For over 25 years, Phil Harriman
has developed a national reputation for his expertise in family-held businesses,
retirement planning, business continuation arrangements and estate planning. He began his career in 1977 with the life insurance agency of former Maine Governor James B. Longley. In 1983, he and Michael Lebel formed Lebel & Harriman LLP, an insurance and investment firm and a registered representative of Valmark Securities.

A Husson College graduate, Phil earned a B.S.degree in Business Administration, majoring in insurance. After graduation, he achieved Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant desig- nations from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. As a licensed and bonded life insurance consultant, banks, law firms and accounting firms often retain him for his expertise in life insurance contracts, annuities and retirement plans.

Phil became a Life and Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, an international association of life insurance agents.  Since that time, he has added six MDRT Court of the Table and two Top of the Table qualifications.  In 2004, Phil was elected to the MDRT's executive committee, and in 2006 he was elected President of this prestigious association.

Phil is also a member of the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters, a member of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), and a past executive committee member of the Maine Estate Planning Council.  In the year 2000, Phil was a recipient of the esteemed J. Putnam Stevens Award.

Dedicated to the betterment of his community, Phil served four consecutive
terms representing the 23rd District in the Maine Senate.  He has also been a
board member of numerous organizations, including Mid Coast Health Services, Husson College and Ingraham.

A Colby College graduate, Laurie holds
both Life & Health Insurance licenses.

Rebecca Shea

Rebecca moved to Maine from Massachusetts to join Lebel & Harriman, LLP in 2000.

Rebecca focuses on Estate and Business Continuation Planning.

She currently holds her Series 6, Series 63, Life and Health Insurance license and is registered representative of the National Association of Securities Dealers. Rebecca is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.


Michelle Romano

Michelle is a Financial Advisor who came to us from Morgan Stanley in January of 2003. She has been in the business since 1995 and holds her Series 7, Series 63, Series 65, Series 31 and Life & Health Insurance licenses.  While employed at Morgan Stanley, she earned the designation of Retirement Planning Specialist.  Now focusing on individual asset management and retirement planning, Michelle can help you create a financial plan. Once your short and long term goals have been established, she will provide you with a

thorough review of your current accounts and will create an investment portfolio designed to meet your needs. Whether it is planning for college, accumulating assets to fund retirement or generating income during retirement, she works with people going through all of the phases of life.

Michelle graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine.  A Maine native, she lives with her husband, Paul and daughter, Abigail, in Scarborough Maine.

Jennifer L. Breton

Jennifer L. Breton, Accredited Investment Fiduciary ®, Financial Consultant

Jennifer has worked in the financial services industry since moving to Maine in the early 1990's.  Her concentration is corporate and individual retirement planning.  Jennifer attended Wentworth Institute of Technology and studied engineering.  With that attention to detail, Jennifer works with her clients to clarify their role as a fiduciary of retirement assets, and assist them in comparing the various retirement plan choices so the most

appropriate vehicle is implemented.  Jennifer provides ongoing fiduciary plan reviews to plan sponsors, and all retirement plan participants receive "one on one" employee education to ensure they have the access to advice that is specific to their personal goals.
